Easy Digital Downloads – VAT

This plugin extends the Easy Digital Downloads plugin with (European) VAT support.

• Validate and store (European) VAT number entered for Business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • For European VAT numbers the SOAP service from the European Commission is used the validate VAT numbers:

• Allow “VAT Reversed Charged” per country with or without an valid VAT number.
• Add VAT details to PDF invoices generated by the “PDF Invoices” plugin.

• Works with any Easy Digital Downloads supported payment gateway.
• One-time purchase: the plugin is not transaction based.
• For European and non-European businesses.
• Easily enable or disable countries from purchasing.
• Collects the evidence you need to support the VAT rate used.
• Evidence is stored within the Easy Digital Downloads payment post.
• Evidence is shown on the view order details payment history page.
• Includes the evidence in the payment export.
